Heating

We are sorry that our heating system has failed and we are unable to heat the building. Part of a wall has now been removed so that new heaters can enter the building, as shown in this photo. We hope that a new heaters will be installed during the next few weeks. The temperature in the building is about 6C at the moment.

Church Open for Visitors

We are opening the church to visitors most Tuesdays (except 26 December) from 10:30am to 3pm; the north and south doors, but not the west doors, will be open.

Cllr Chris Williams, Carshalton Central Ward, holds a surgery when the church is open. No appointment necessary, but if you would like to contact Chris in advance to arrange a particular time, then phone him on 07941 553623 or, if you prefer, you can seek an appointment by email at chris.williams@sutton.gov.uk.

The easiest way for residents to find out who their councillors are is to go to use the sutton.gov.uk website to find your local councillor.

Deanery Synod

Carshalton is part of the Deanery of Sutton, which corresponds roughly to the geographical area of the Borough of Sutton. Every few months there is a meeting of members of the Anglican churches in the Deanery at the Deanery Synod, at which matters of general interest are discussed and representatives on the Diocesan and General Synods are elected. Minutes of the October 2017 Synod meeting are here (82 kB).
